Hello!
My real name is "Elhew Zachary" but I prefer to be called Zack since it is easier for me to remember a one syllable word.

I am a Pointer. Many humans refer to me as an "English Pointer" to differentiate me from a German Shorthair, but that should not be necessary. My body is mostly white and my tail rides high in the wind instead of being cropped.
The reason I'm called a Pointer is because I like to point things, especially game birds like quail and pheasant. When I am not in the field and am at home playing in the backyard, I point anything that moves: a robin, a butterfly, a bee, a squirrel and even a turtle!

My human friends feed me the best food that money can buy. They know the importance of proper nutrition. I need forty three nutrients in the proper balance to stay healthy. |
Twice a year I go for a physical check-up and, if required, immunization shots. Dr. Jewell examines me thoroughly paying particular attention for parasite infestation.... especially heart worms. I get bathed regularly, sleep in a clean bed, take my monthly heartworm medicine and I am always treated to prevent fleas and ticks from crawling on me.
Well, there you have it. but before you go, take a look at the next two pictures of me pointing quail. Pretty impressive, don't you think?
